Das ist Patrick Hartl. Seine Werke waren mir schon auf der STROKE, der Urban Art Kunstmesse, vor einigen Wochen aufgefallen. Sie verbinden so was typisch Münchnerisches mit Urban Art, Altes mit Neuem, und springen einem sofort ins Auge. Vor allem ist es aber der erste Künstler, der mir das “tagging” näher gebracht hat – eine Kunstform, die ich bisher immer nur im Rahmen der destruktiven Beschmiererei kannte.
This is Patrick Hartl. A few weeks ago at the STROKE, the Urban Art Fair, I noticed his works the first time. The combine the typical Munich with Urban Art, the new with old and catch your eye immediately. But after all I am grateful that he introduce me to a different way of “tagging” – something I only new as a destructive art form daubed over other graffiti.
