Isarflimmern

There is this shop around the corner from where I live. I pass it quite often but I do not dare entering it as often as I would like to do so. It is filled with beautiful books. Displayed with a lot of love. Today I passed the shop again and the woman who works there was standing in front of it. She looked so great that I asked her for a photograph. And, well. This is what she did when I told her she should do what ever she wants for the picture. And here is her story: “I was working as the assistant of a director for various project. I did quite some great projects in Bochum and so on. I had a great time. But this shop is really “me”. I like working with people and with stories. This is my world and I love it.”. And this is what you can feel in the shop. If you are looking for a great book store go to Isarflimmern and be sure you will find something you want. Da gibt es diesen Laden bei mir um die Ecke. Ich gehe recht oft an ihm vorbei aber ich geh nicht halb so oft rein, wie ich es gerne würde. Er ist voll bis oben hin mit tollen Büchern. Die Bücher sind mit viel Liebe ausgestellt, und es gibt so tolle Bücher.  Als ich heute gerade wieder vorbeigegangen bin, stand gerade die Besitzerin vor der Tür. Sie sah so klasse aus, dass ich sie einfach um ein Photo gebeten habe. Und sie hat sofort ja gesagt und sich dabei auch noch genial zur Schau gestellt, als ich sie gefragt habe, wie sie sich denn gerne fotografieren lassen will. Und hier ihre Geschichte: “Ich war mal Regie-Assistentin bei verschiedenen Projekten. Ich habe einige Projekte in Bochum und so gemacht. Es war eine tolle Zeit. Aber dieser Laden – das bin jetzt wirklich “ich”. Ich mag es, mit Menschen und Geschichten zu arbeiten. Das ist meine Welt und ich liebe es.” Und genau das spürt man, wenn man in dem Laden ist. Wer mal nach einem guten Buch sucht, sollte unbedingt mal hier rein: Isarflimmern. Und sei darauf gefasst, dass du sicher was findest. (genau gegenüber vom Kiosk an der Reichenbachbrücke)
