Heute waren wir bei einer Veranstaltung, die jedes Jahr stattfindet: Spuk im Gasteig. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Ganz besonders hat mir aber das Gespräch mit der Regiseurin danach gefallen:
“Dieses Projekt hat mir ganz besonders Spaß gemacht. Letztes Jahr habe ich es noch in der Ausbildung betreut und dieses Jahr hat es wieder sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Jetzt muss ich erst mal ein Geld verdienen.
Ich habe die Regie-Ausbildung an der Otto Falckenberg Schule gemacht und sie war sehr teuer. Die Ausbildung selber eigentlich nicht, aber in München leben und nicht arbeiten können geht ganz schön ins Geld.
Ich habe mich dafür entschieden, hier in München zu bleiben. Hier gibt es wenigstens noch Geld für Kultur. Diese Veranstaltung hier war wahrscheinlich nicht kostendeckend und die Stadt lässt es sich trotzdem kosten, Kultur zu fördern. Das finde ich toll und möchte meinen Beitrag dazu leisten.
Erst hatte ich große Sorgen, dass München mir zu piefig und spießig wäre. Aber wenn man genau hinsieht, dann ist die Stadt wirklich toll. Vor allem gibt es tolle freien Projekte. Das iCamp ist so ein tolles Projekt und ich werde mich dort engagieren. Ich denke mir immer: Es gibt nichts Gutes, außer du tust es. Wenn alle guten Leute München verließen, dann würden wir doch einfach nur der CSU das Feld überlassen.”
Vielen Dank für dieses Gespräch und vor allem für diese Einstellung. Genau wegen Menschen wie dir, habe ich diesen Blog angefangen. Man muss die tollen Menschen in München machmal ein bisschen länger suchen, aber wenn man genau hinkuckt, findet man sie auch.
Kurze Anmerkung: hinter ihr sieht man die Orgel um die das Stück heute ging. Wir haben viel gelernt: unter anderem, dass die Orgel über 6.000 Pfeifen hat.
Today we attended an event which takes place only once a year: Spooky at Gasteig. I can only highly recommend it. But this time the little chat I had with the director after the show was the best part:
“This project is very beautiful. I have done it last year during while I was still studying. After I have finished school now it was also a lot of fun. But now I have to earn some money first.
I was on the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule and it was quite expensive. Not the school itself but living in Munich without being able to work is the part where you loose money.
I have decided to stay in Munich now. At least there is still some money for culture. This show was most likely not cost-covering today but without the funding of the city it would not work. In Munich it is still important to support cultural projects.
I was a little bit worried first about Munich: Munich seems so conservative and “piefig” from the outside. But if you dig a little bit deeper you will find fantastic open projects. For example the iCamp is such a project and will support it there. My idea is: There will be no good things if you don’t do them yourself. Just imagine all the good people would leave Munich! This would just mean that you clear the way for the CSU.”
Thank you so much for this interview and your attitude. You are one of those people I would like to show to the world in my blog. Sometimes you have to look around a lot to find great people in Munich. But if you do not give up, people in Munich will amaze you!
By the way: behind her you can see the pipe organ which was the main character of the play today. We have learned a lot: for example that this organ has over 6.000 pipes.
