Es fing damit an, dass die Mama im Schreibwarenladen den spannenden Ausspruch getan hat: “Wie? In der ersten Klasse brauchen die Kinder noch keinen Füller? Kein Wunder, dass sie 13 Jahre brauchen.” Damit war der Grundstein gelegt für unser kurzes Interview, denn dieser tolle junge Mann, kommt im September in die Schule.”
“Es wird wirklich Zeit, dass er in die Schule kommt. Weniger weil er sich im Kindergarten langweilt, aber er will jetzt richtig lernen, fängt an zu rechnen und zu lesen. Und spielt Schach. Allerdings bin ich dann doch gespannt, wie das mit der Konzentration und dem Stillsitzen wird.”
“Ich bin in der DDR aufgewachsen und da musste man sich in der Schule ab der ersten Klasse brav, gerade und mit beiden Händen auf dem Tisch hinsetzen. Das kann ich mir bei ihm gar nicht vorstellen. Ich bin froh, dass sich das inzwischen schon verändert hat, aber manchmal finde ich das ganze schon ziemlich “weichgespült” in der Schule.”
“Aus reiner Gewohntheit und aus meinen Erfahrungen heraus, hatte ich mir auch die Ganztagsschule für ihn vorgestellt, aber wenn ich sehe, wie quirlig er ist, wäre das nichts für ihn.”

It started with the fact that I overheard her saying in a shop for school things: “What? They are need a fountain pen only in second grade? “It really is about time that he goes to school. It is not only because he is bored in Kindergarden but he really wants learn things now, starts calculating and reading. And he plays chess now. The only thing I am a bit nervous about is how it will work with concentration and sitting still.”
“I grew up in the GDR and there we had to sit straight, quite and with both hands on the table all the time from the very first day on. I could not imagine this for him. I am really happy that things changed in the meantime but sometimes I think everything is a little bit to “soft” nowadays.”
“Just because I am used to it and since I only had experiences with this, I wanted to have him in a all day school. But with him as he is very lively, we decided against it.”
Und auf was freust du dich in der Schule?
“Auf’s Schach spielen. Und auf’s Pokemon Go spielen. Und darauf, die Lehrerin in den Matsch zu werfen.”
