“Der Traum ist eigentlich vor circa 12 Jahren in Argentinien entstanden. Dort gibt es großartige Restaurants und erst war es mein großer Traum einen Burgerladen oder eine Laden zu haben, in dem man wie in Argentinien das Fleisch grillt. Leider bekommt man keine Genehmigungen für das Grillen über offenem Feuer – zumindest nicht in geschlossenen Räumen – und Burgerläden gibt es inzwischen schon fast zu viele. Tja, und so ist der Traum immer weiter gereift – Jahr für Jahr – bis wir letztes Jahr die Möglichkeit gefunden haben, in diesem Reisebüro hier das Café zu übernehmen. Die Idee einer Creperie war geboren und es fühlt sich großartig an! Wir haben seit drei Wochen offen und es läuft gut an. Es ist wundervoll immer wieder verschiedene Menschen kennenzulernen und unsere Crepes werden jeden Tag besser.
Abends machen wir noch Events für Firmen oder Gruppen. Zum Beispiel gebe ich hier auch Worshops: anhand der Zubereitung von Crepes kann man hervorragend verschiedene Methoden wie Kanban oder andere agile Projektmanagement-Methoden erklären.
Und zu zweit schaffen wir das auf jeden Fall!”
“The dream is actually 12 years old and has it’s origin in Argentina. They have such amazing restaurants there and since my time there it was my dream to open a burger house or a restaurant where we would grill the meat as they do it in Argentina. But unfortunately it is impossible to get a permission to do barbecues with open fire – at least in closed rooms – and in the meantime there are too many burger houses already. Well, and this is how the dream developed from year to year and last year we found this possibility to take over this Cafe within a travel center. The idea to turn it into a Creperie – a place for French pancakes – was born and it feels wonderful! We just opened three weeks ago and it is going quite well. It is a great experience to meet all these different people and our crepes are becoming better and better every day.
In the evenings we offer this here as an event location for companies or groups. In a few weeks I will give a workshop here: the process of the crepe production is a wonderful way of explaining different methods like Kanban or other agile project management methods.
And I we will make it as a team of two!”
