“Ich studiere Restaurierung hier. In China hab ich damit angefangen und hier habe ich mich auf die Papier-Restaurierung spezialisiert. In China bekommt dieses Spezialgebiet nicht so viel Aufmerksamkeit und Wertschätzung wie hier. Ich bin in einer Projektarbeit sogar nach China gefahren und habe von dort ein spezielles Papier mitgebracht, das wir dann hier analysiert haben.
Ich fühle mich hier in Deutschland sehr wohl. Ich bin in Peking aufgewachsen und dort ist es immer laut und viel los. Ich mag aber gerne die Ordnung, die es hier in München überall gibt. Nur das chinesische Essen vermisse ich. Gottseidank gibt es Skype und Textnachrichten. So kann ich den Kontakt zu meinen Eltern halten.”
“I study restoration. I started in China but I specialized here on paper restoration. This special field does not get a lot of awareness and appreciation like here. For a project I even went to China and brought back some special paper which we analyzed here.
I really love Germany and I feel very comfortable here. I grew up in Peking and it is always loud and crazy there. But I love structures and this is something you can find here in Munich very well. The only thing I really miss is the Chinese food. And I am very thankful for Skype and text messages. With them I can easily keep contact with my parents.”
