“Ich leite das Barber House in der Fraunhoferstraße. Ich war selber Kunden und finde das Konzept einfach großartig. Es ist unglaublich zu sehen, wie gestresst die Leute oft reinkommen und dann total entspannt wieder rausgehen. Das macht nicht nur das Ambiente oder die Tatsache, dass immer gute Musik – oft Jazz – im Hintergrund läuft. Wenn man sich auf die halbe , dreiviertel oder sogar ganze Stunde einlässt, dann ist das echt ein unglaubliches Erlebnis. Und dafür zu arbeiten ist echt ein Traumjob. Ich freue mich jeden Tag drauf. Endlich mal ein ehrlicher Beruf, eine ehrliche Arbeit. Nicht immer nur Folien-Schubsen – das mach ich natürlich auch, weil ich das Marketing mache – aber es ist einfach ein toller Job.
Bei uns braucht man übrigens keinen Bart, um zu uns in den Laden zu kommen. Unsere Jungs sind natürlich alle ausgebildete Barbiere, aber wir machen auch den ganz normalen Haarschnitt oder eben eine Rasur.”
“I am the manager of the barber house at Fraunhoferstraße. I was a customer myself there and I just love the concept. It is always great to see how stressed out people come in and leave the shop completely relaxed. It is not only the ambience or the fact that there is always great music – mostly Jazz – in the background. If you go along with this 30 minutes, perhaps 45 minutes or even an hour: it will leave you with an amazing experience. And to work for that is really a dream job. I a looking forward to it every day. Finally an honest profession, an honest job. Not only pushing slides from left to right – I am doing this as well since I am doing he marketing as well – but this is just a wonderful job.
By the way you do not have to have a beard to come into the shop. All the boys are qualified barber but you also get a normal haircut or just a proper shave.”
