“My grandmother used to have a piano at her home and when we were kids we played on it. I never got lessons or practiced but we but my sister picked it up and is now a great player. It was fun to sit down again and try to dig out some tunes from that time. Nice memories popped up.”
I have met this fellow from Denmark when I was at the “Open Piano for Refugees” at the Odeonsplatz. This is a piano where you can play along and donate something for a project with the same name. The idea is to support refugees to get music classes and open this part again for them.
